Staff culture
Help make QCAC happen
Staffing is the crew that helps guests, supports performers, answers attendee questions, keeps rooms moving, and makes the weekend feel welcoming.
If you want to be part of the team behind the event, start with the application and we will match you to the role that makes sense.

Staffing FAQ
Know the basics before you apply
Who is pictured here?
That is Malik, one of the QCAC team members shown from a previous staff year. The photo is here to give applicants a feel for the people behind the weekend.
What benefits are provided to Staff Members?
Staff members receive a staff badge, a staff shirt, shared hotel lodging at or near the event, packaged breakfast items, snacks, drinks, and event-provided meals or a meal stipend during the weekend.
When will I know if I have been accepted?
After your application comes in, the Staffing Team will reach out to schedule a short interview. It is an informal conversation to make sure the role and the weekend are a good fit.
What should I do if it has been awhile and I have not heard from anyone?
Please give the Staffing Team a little time, especially when applications are coming in quickly. If you are concerned, email staffing@queencityanimecon.org and ask for a status check.
How many hours will I be expected to work?
Full-time general staff usually work about eight hours per convention day. Leadership roles vary by department, and the staffing interview is the right place to talk through those expectations.
