His breakout track “BLASTOISE!” exploded online, amassing well over a billion organic views across user-generated content and surpassing 20 million views and streams across platforms. With 543k monthly listeners, 195k playlist adds, and over 6 million Spotify streams in 2025 alone, Genwunner has built a rapidly growing cult following.

A relentless live performer, Genwunner played anime conventions nearly every month in 2025, including Anime NYC, Anime Expo alongside Cam Steady, MomoCon with Anime Rap Takeover, OtakuFest, IchigoCon, ConneticCon, Long Island TCG Show, Nerdz and Hip-Hop Mini-Con, Convivial Fest, and more.

He has performed three separate times at the legendary SOB’s in New York, appeared at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and joined Cam Steady on the NateWantsToBattle headlined Phantom Burial West Coast tour in October 2025.
