Do you have to be in cosplay/costume to attend?

Absolutely not! We love and encourage cosplay but it’s by no means required.

Is this event family-friendly?

Yes! We offer a variety of events for attendees of all ages. Children ages 6-12 qualify for kids ticket pricing and children aged 0-5 may attend for free. Additionally, children 0-12 can attend for free on Sunday only.

We do, however, have some events that are unsuitable for minors. These events will be denoted on our schedule as being “18+” and will require photo identification as age verification for entry.

What is your dress code?

We encourage cosplay and costumes from all fandoms and genres! Since Queen City Anime Convention is a family event, we ask that all cosplays stay family friendly as well. More information on our dress code can be found on our rules and policies page.

Can I carry a sign at Queen City Anime Convention?

Signs are allowed as long as they are obviously part of a cosplay. Please do not carry promotional signs or “Free Hugs” signs. Signs must be approved at prop check.

Can I bring my animal to the convention?

Attendees that require the assistance of a service animal are welcome and encouraged to attend Queen City Anime Convention with that service animal. However, we ask that you leave companion animals and pets (including Emotional Support Animals) at home.

Can I apply to be a vendor or artist for 2021?

Most our vendors and artists from 2020 opted to roll over their registration. Due to reduced capacity, we no longer have space for any more vendors or artists. We encourage you to apply for our 2022 event!

What vendors will be at Queen City Anime Convention?

We’re proud to offer our attendees some of the region’s best artists and vendors. A full vendors list will be published along with the finalized schedule closer to the event.

What are the benefits of VIP tickets?

VIP members get to skip the line at registration, priority seating during main events, and priority access to guest autograph sessions.

Where do I park for the convention?

Day parking will be available on site for $5 and overnight parking will be available for $10 per day.
